The Role
Got involved with some good projects and easy to get help when needed.
Integrated as part of the team.
Had weekly meetings with manager and Lynne was available when I had any questions.
When involved in new projects or multiple projects I had a lot to do, but some days were slow while waiting for my next project.
Completed individual projects regularly.
Good people skills learned from this placement, would have liked more technical or engineering skills as I was working mostly in CI.
The Company
Generally a good atmosphere.
Organised well, with the greenbelt being the main bulk of the year.
One to ones with Lynne each week and also had personal goals during the placement with competencies.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I will get fast tracked to the assessment centre if I apply for a graduate role.
The Culture
9 other engineering students and then other placement students with good social life.
City centre so as expected.
Lots of it, with broad street and city centre near by.
Charity events and work.
