    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • During the 4 days I have been involved with different types of activities. From day one I enjoyed most of them for the engagement, culture-sharing and participation Bloomberg team was able to create. Furthermore, I did not realise the potential of the Bloomberg Terminal. The construction of the program was built all around it and I am glad Bloomberg made that decision as was 100% worth it.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I was part of small group of 30 students. This allowed me to participate actively during each session and provide my point of view to the speakers and guest during the insight. Furthermore, the culture of the company allowed me to show the best of my skills and ambitions. I did not feel the pressure during tasks as I would in other companies due to the solidity and consistency I personally felt from the people managing the insight.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The team was really precisely in advising and allowing us to provide points of view at any time. During the days, Q&A sessions were really flexible and in line to the activity scheduled. Was a great opportunity to ask questions and further information. Personally, there was not any issues when asking questions and team was always supportive, talkative and interactive with all of us.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • In regards to my financial preparation, massively. I am now able to talk about different financial products and intake different analysis within financial data. Furthermore, I am now able to use the terminal for further research and I am sure this would be beneficial for my degree. I will start my dissertation in 2 years based on some financial statistic I am already looking to and the information and preparation reach from the insight completely enhanced my persona.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • With four days was really difficult to cover all the department and activity that a good intern needs to go through. However, the activities were really outstanding in the learning outcomes and the satisfaction high as well. We went through networking sessions, open discussions. group activities and a final group pitch. Overall, the experience was really well structured.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The vibe was great, I did not imagine something like that to happen before the insight. However, there was not a diffused competition, people were helpful and also students did not manage to get stuck on the ground for the pressure during the days. The 3 members of the team were always friendly and engaging from early morning to late evening when we finished. A multi-cultural effect that surprised me and a lot of other students. What a great experience we had!

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Bloomberg Terminal training was provided and was really insightful. Furthermore, other trainings were organised all managed by different people within the different departments of the company.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The task and activities were completely organised in order to understand that. I now believe I would appreciate to have the opportunity to work at Bloomberg full time and I will make the best out of next internship to make this happen.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Is always difficult to understand a company culture by few days in. However, I feel confident to say I know a lot about Bloomberg LP culture as I put myself into the game completely for the days in.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Really valuable. The tasks set were completely directed to get us the understanding of what is the daily activity of being in Sales department, analytics or Global data. Also, the insight from the different team members were the most valuable part to get the real insight of what could be my future career path.
