    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed my year!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was definitely not treated like ' the intern'. I always had the chance to speak and voice my opinions and what I said was valued.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was very lucky with my team, I could ask anyone of them for some help and it would always be given.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Naturally there are busy and quiet times. Though I was always proactive to find jobs whenever it was quiet.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was very lucky to work closely with major clients and lead a project.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I study Business and Communication - I have most certainly developed skills which I will keep for life. Being hands-on is by far the nest way to learn and develop what you learn in a lecture.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Fantastic team, we did lots of lunches out, team drinks and social occasions. I was the only intern in the team so thought maybe I would feel a little isolated, but this was definitely not the case.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My task manager was fantastic in my personal development and giving me advice. I feel like it would have been better to be able to spend some more time with my Early Professionals manager, however I was always able to email him.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I felt very valued within my team. Though from a Foundation perspective and future career I know not many interns come back as graduates, so just hope I can come back!

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    National Travel

    Working from home

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would love to come back

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was, however London is very expensive. I chose to commute from home, so I didn't fully apply myself into the social occasions.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London prices - enough said!

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Brilliant but expensive

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes there are, but I didn't see much advertised

    3/5
