    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • My spring internship at the FCA was both informative and educational. The experience I have been given is invaluable to me and I strongly recommend that anybody interested in a internship here applies.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • The FCA made you feel valued and an asset to them, even though we were only there for a very short period of time and not doing very much in that time. It was brilliant to be part of such an amazing organisation, even for just the short time.

    • I was offered support throughout my time at the FCA, I have also been offered mentoring since leaving the FCA, which has been fantastic.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I have been able to apply the skills I have learnt at the Fca towards both my university coursework and in my everyday life. This experience has been invaluable.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • This insight week went far beyond anything I expected it to be, with a rigorous timetable for informative speeches and interactive sessions. I had the most amazing time here and would love to do it all over again.

    • The atmosphere was friendly, helpful and overall very enjoyable. The organisation was filled with lovely people, some of which I am staying in touch with.

    • We were offered lots of opportunities to learn at the insight week, which has been extremely helpful

    • The insight into the FCA was fantastic, in terms of allowing me to see what it would be like to work for the FCA, a fantastic culture.

    • We were brilliantly given insight into the FCA s culture.

    • It was amazing, I will be applying to join the summer internship next year.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I was fully reimbursed for my weeks stay, which made it possible for me to attend.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There were plenty of chances to network and meet other people during this week.

    • They were fantastic, the perfect mix of formal and informal.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • The chance to volunteer at the FCA os wonderful, when we experienced some volunteer work, I realised that I enjoy helping others and it has encouraged me to join a local charity.
