The Role
I have really enjoyed my time working. It has been interesting and challenging
Everyone is so nice and helpful and willing to help you no matter how busy they are. Everyone here made me feel very welcome from day one and have been hugely supportive.
Support and guidance were always offered when needed. Both my supervisor and manager and colleagues have been great on this!
I have been mostly pretty busy there are times when there is a little lag in the work but those times are great as mostly it has been really busy.
Quite quickly I was given my own project to do ( around 1 month in), I am also responsible for quality tasks on certain instruments.
I have developed skills on instruments that I haven't used in university at all which I can now say to employers that I am confident to use. I have also been trained in GMP and its been great to understand how a large business works and what is involved in the day to day running of it.
The Company
Everyone is focused and busy but they have always got time to see how you are and what you have been up to in your spare time.
The organisation was good, I knew where I was meant to be from day one and what was expected of me.
I was GMP trained and trained in what was needed for me to do the job. Extra training courses were available but mostly not relevant to me as an intern.

The Culture
Yes there was!
Expensive as it is in Reading
Nightlife was okay. London is 25 min on the train and better for most people.
Yes, with community or with Sport. I joined a local netball team.
