The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The project was sufficiently challenging and everyone was extremely approachable and helpful.
The project that I was given was topical which meant that colleagues were requesting that we interviewed them!
The support was there if and when I needed it. At no point did management spoon feed me through the project as they were keen that I learnt through our own means; however they pointed me in the right direction and were always there when I needed them.
Not too busy but enough to keep you occupied and working!
not too much to be honest, work was double checked
Some of the skills which were learnt were transferable such as presentational, conversational and organisational skills. The things that I learnt however were specific to energy sector.
The Company
All staff were very respectful, professional and friendly.
The department that I was working with had previous experience with students on the same program. Therefore the department were aware of our role and the project very well structured and set at just the right level.
There were a few training days and trips to other areas of the business.
