  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was thoroughly enjoyable, I learned so much and had a great time while doing it, meeting some great people.

  • I work at a small IBM office so we're all close here, which was great for getting started and getting into the role.

  • My managers were very supportive and kept me on track while encouraging activities elsewhere too.

  • I had a very busy role, which was beneficial as time flew by and allowed learning at a grand scale

  • I had a lot of responsibility with customer environments, occasionally they could not progress without me.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I was able to see the business working in action, and learn what customers want and need in a product. This will help me understand business and customer needs in the future.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • As it was a small environment, we had great fun as we were all friends, and it was never "dead" in the office.

  • It's clear that the company had done it before as it was all so organised. Every step of the way had support and expertise at our disposal.

  • They were always eager to support my education and allowed me to learn in many aspects of the business.

  • There is a lot of competition, but I feel confident that I can get further within the business

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Really good social side as it was a small environment so we all got on, and it was close to London so it had an even better scene

  • It was near London, so it was expensive, but they had other places to work that would have been cheaper

  • It was London, so it was amazing
