The Role
Some tasks were rather menial but in general I would learn more about the business and the job each day and there were a large variety of tasks involved in the role.
The longer the internship went on the more valued I felt.
There was always someone at hand to help should you need it.
The nature of the job meant some days were extremely busy and some were quiet.
Enough responsibility to feel valued and that the work being done was of significant help.
The skills I have developed are useful but won't necessarily assist me with my studies.
The Company
Friendly and on the whole a good atmosphere.
Initial training tapered off due to the team getting busier.
There was a strong emphasis on developing new skills and learning more about the business and the industry in general.
Healthcare from home
Job prospects look good.
The Culture
There were few interns in the office however some of us did interact throughout the placement.
Edinburgh is quite an expensive city to live in.
There are lots of bars and clubs nearby.
