The Role
Everyone was really welcoming and friendly from the start. Really well organised. Good insight into the commercial side of the property world.
Very welcoming, but could have had a little more to do.
Always happy to answer questions and give advice on tasks that were set. My graduate mentor was particularly helpful, not only with the tasks I had been given, but in quieter times pointed me towards interesting articles to read, that helped me with my understanding of the industry.
There were times when I had very little or nothing to do, but maybe that was a consequence of the time of year.
I was given tasks to carry out that actually counted towards something, I really enjoyed seeing my work beind used within reports and presentations.
Gave me a very good insight, and was ultimately what made me decide to choose a career within property.
The Company
Good, friendly atmosphere. I thought it was really nice that all the employees from the graduates to the directors all sat together in the office.
Very well organised. I felt well informed in the run up to the internship, so I was able to prepare well without stress. There was always someone to contact in case of any questions or queries.
I felt like I learnt quite a lot about the workings of the industry through shadowing members of my team, and about working in a large office environment.
I would like to be given the opportunity to work for the company again in the future.
The Culture
There was some sort of social event organised several times a week. It was really nice to be able to get to know the other interns outside of the office.
It was central London.
Good nightlife, but as an intern, central London prices are slightly too expensive.
The company organised social events with graduates and we received e-mails about activites that were going on, and always felt as though we would be welcome, despite only being interns.
