The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at VWFS and would highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking to apply. Everyone has been extremely friendly from the moment I arrived and I feel I have developed a great deal as an individual.
My colleagues treated me as an imperative member of the team from day one and included me in all company and non company activity.
My manager booked in monthly recurring one to one meetings so we could catch up on everything we needed.
My role started off pretty slow as I was the first undergrad to undertake the Digital Marketing role however after a few weeks I was soon to find my feet and firmly set my key deliverables with my manager.
Obviously as undergrads who are new to the business we cannot be given total responsibility right off the bat but my manager was soon to hand down projects which included external resource for me to own and manage by myself
The training resources at VWFS are second to none! They have dedicated quiet and learning rooms where you can go to during work hours and study on your university work without interruption. They also provide training courses for personal development
The Company
Everyone is very friendly and very easy to talk to, you never hear of any turmoil within the office.
Human Resources managed the placement very well and they themselves have an undergraduate working for them which really helps because they know exactly how it feels and can empathise.
The company has many training courses which really helps develop personal attributes, these can range from technical skill such as excel to more team building excersises
Company Car
Company Parties/Events
This can be a little but of a grey area as VWFS does not currently offer graduate roles.
The Culture
Everyone is very sociable to and many of us even lived together in the same house.
MK is relatively cheap to live in however you HAVE to have a vehicle to get around.
Nightlife was okay and links to London are good
There are numerous clubs you can join all around the town.
