The Role
Placement at VWFS has been a great experience. I've learnt an awful lot and developed new skills.
The team i am based in is a very friendly and close team, I feel like a valued member of the team and any help i need is given straight away
My manager was excellent in helping me develop as an undergrad as well as recommending training courses for me to attend
My work load was both varied and constant, while i was busy i never felt like i was crushed under the work load.
The skills i've developed will help greatly when it comes to time management of my work load at uni as well as how to structure my work load. It will also allow me to think differently about different tasks
The Company
The atmosphere in the office is relaxed but professional
my placement was well structured with a variety of opportunities for me to learn new skills and interact with new areas of the business
I've received training for various applications as well as advanced software training, my interpersonal skills have also being allowed to develop through training courses

The Culture
The social scene between both the undergrads and colleges was very good. Regular team nights out as well as inter department football matches.
Housing was very expensive, if i could commute from home i definitely would have. Socialising isn't too bad for Milton Keynes being so close to London.
Not too bad for a town, London/Northampton aren't too far away if you want a proper night out
VWFS does regular teamswork events for employees to engage in and 5 a-side football is very popular among departments
