The Role
The people at IBM are very friendly and helpful, although it is very difficult to learn everything at the pace IBM expects you to, especially at the beginning, when everything is new and everyone is very busy. I have enjoyed working at IBM, it is a great company to work in, however I wish my time was a lot less stressful.
My colleagues were very easy to work with and have always found the time to help when needed. At the same time, any help provided to them was highly appreciated.
I had different managers throughout the year - some of them were amazing, some of them were quite difficult to work with.
I was very busy on a daily basis, which I have preferred to being bored, however a lot of it could have been handled quicker if more role-specific education was provided.
A lot of responsibility is given from the beginning.
IBM has taught me a lot and I am sure the skills gained at IBM will help me a lot in the future.
The Company
Many people work from home which makes the office really quiet - especially on Fridays, but when people are in the office, the atmosphere is great.

The Culture
The cost of living is quiet high compared to other places in the UK - cost of socialising is average.
