The Role
I was able to work in all aspects of the business - and once I found which area I wanted to concentrate in I was given responsibility and was mentored by welcoming experienced professionals.
Not just the people that worked in my department were welcoming - the entire office gave me a genuine feeling of inclusion.
It was amazing how much I was able to talk to and learn from top management at the company. From lunches to feeling comfortable asking question - I was able to learn so much.
Obviously when you start an internship, you are in an invironment that is completely new and you have no grasp on the way business and a lot of other things work. So, there was a short time where was given small tasks and research assignments in the beginning - but in the end it was worth it because for the majority of my time I had real assignments with actual responsibility. I was only able to this because I got to know how the company ran at the start.
I was in charge of creating the country wide and company wide newsletter - including editing, and correspondence. I was involved in external meetings, research and due dilligence on prospective projects and project development. They took care in training me - so the responsibility was not overwhelming, it was exciting.
After leaving my internship at Enterprise I have started interviewing for paid positions in the working world, and I can already see that what I learned during my time there - in every aspect of working for a company and just being in a professional office - is evident in the way I conduct myself, how I think, and what I say. It has made me all around a more valuable and attractive candidate.

The Culture
Living anywhere near London is a little pricey- but being a little outside the city makes things better and there is a diverse range of places to go/live
I lived in South London where the night life is absolutely amazing.
There are company events and charity events all of the time. The first week I started there was a winter party! They have an office charity day with fun events every month, there is an office cricket team and even cake day each month!
