The Role
To some extent it was a struggle as I'd never worked or done any other job like this but after training and working and the support from the manager and colleagues I found it really enjoyable.
I wouldn't say family but they supported me at work, Helped me out when i was in need
I was quite surprised by how much support hey were giving as they didn't seem to impressed on my first day, they made my job more enjoyable
I was always busy as I'd have to to maintenance and everything Aswell as the duties my manger and supervisor set, but I'd rather be busy than standing around
It was a rather alot handling supplies and deliveries ect and my colleagues let me handle most of it so i learned more.
Defiantly something I'll never forget, Probably could do with touching up when it comes to it but yeah i learned a rather alot especially about machinery
The Company
It was never dull but not a big laugh but the colleagues would joke around whenever they needed a laugh, or they'd be daft in the bathroom section while they had no work which was always funny watching act like fools
100% seamless I was always busy with either tasks maintenance or deliveries and checking supplies it was planned out very well.
as they normally hire people who are already highly trained it was different for them aswell as me I had alot of training and extra hours while i worked everything out they even did it out of work hours just so they could keep me and teach me everything they had to offer.
Flexi Time
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I'd defiantly go back especially if most the colleagues are still there,it was a really good job so i'd consider it in the future.
The Culture
There was only one other student but he only worked 2 weeks As he didn't like how much work there was but he was an alright lad, The colleagues on the other hand we had a good social scene.
Not too bad, could have been better as the pay wasn't good but I enjoyed my time there and money wasn't a problem luckily for me.
i never got out much but when I did the nights were amazing can remember most night outs, Even if we weren't drinking just went bowling it was still a great laugh
I visited a few other Warehouses around the region on my days off, Could have been more but i was busy enough with uni and work so it didn't really effect me that much.
