The Role
Really engaging and get you involved in loads of different projects!
Was treated like a member of the team, with my manager forgetting on many occasions that i have to leave afterwards.
Don't be afraid to ask for help. It is always at hand. Always have questions at the end of meetings to take forward and discuss further/
Busy. Had to juggle between 3 teams which proved challenging but rewarding when i got it right.
A lot. Got myself involved in many projects and was made owner of all main social media channels for the UK and created the first IBM UK Blog.
Time management was essential in my role and one that will be an asset going back to university and completing my dissertation.
The Company
Great year, great colleagues and great interns to work with! Just gutted it is over so quickly.
Very - Came straight in and had a good handover with previous intern. Also provided me with a document that is like a bible.
Manager insisted I got involved in as many things as possible, even highlighting things that might be of interest to me.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Working from home
Very. IBM have many roles that you can go into and don't feel if you do Marketing, you cannot go back in Sales or Consultancy, do some shadowing and that will get you some valuable experience.
The Culture
All interns on a thursday meet up and socialise at the local bar. You will probably find your little 'click' at work but everyone is friends with everyone.

You will 100% end up at Walkabout for your first few nights out. Don't worry though, enjoy it! and make sure you use your card for discount!.
There is a community dedicated to getting you involved in sports, social events or roles wider than your team.
