The Role
On the whole an enjoyable experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
My task manager engaged me with some interesting pieces of work. The role was self-directed a lot of the time, I appreciated this autonomy.
I spent very little time with my task manager. This was expected being a mature student.
Often not very, with the odd hectic day. This is the nature of the job.
I had substantial responsibility in certain areas. For example I authored myriad legally binding documents and took on some financial modelling work. Other tasks, such as preparing presentations were more administrative in nature.
I have developed useful data mining skills in Excel. These will be useful in the third year of an Economics degree and beyond.
The Company
A friendly participative atmosphere and an open plan office. All
The wider foundation community was well organised with several formal events and the opportunity to participate in Giveback.
There was as much personal training and development as you wanted to take part in, through the activities of the Foundation Community.
Flexi Time
Working from home
Weak, the company is slimming down it's UK workforce. There were several rounds of redundancies during my year.
The Culture
Yes, I went to the gym and out socially with colleagues from my office. Several formal events were organised too.
As much or as little as you wanted to spend!
I work in the Northern Quarter!
