The Role
A great deal, I was given a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
I was given tasks that were real issues and therefore I felt well appreciated by colleagues.
They were all really helpful, in fact everyone I interacted with at the company have been happy to help.
I was given enough time to complete tasks, but it was very easy to say when I had too much or too little work and they were very understanding.
During my time here I was given responsibility for a range of projects, leading validation, testing and coordination in many cases. This meant I had real passion for the work I was doing as I felt like I was very useful.
The projects I was involved with stretched and strengthened my skill sets, as well as the soft skills I gained while working here.
The Company
Professional but chilled, they weren't against you having the odd chat with co-workers but the people who work here are also very knowledgeable and polite.
Very well, the 2 lots of 6 month placements meant you get a nice broad range of experiences during your time here. Your first placement is designed to be somewhere you will be comfortable and plays to your skill sets, with the second one being chosen to stretch you somewhat.
During your whole time here you will have meetings with your manager talking about where you want to expand your career into and will give you projects based on this.
I would very much like to return as a graduate, and would be elated to receive a conditional offer.
The Culture
They were all very like minded, and there was work sports events clubs organised which was very good especially as a new starter.
You can get a fairly decent house to live in for reasonable money, but the price you pay will dictate the type of area you live in.
If there wasn't a lot of other placements who worked with to go out with, it would not be ideal, but their company more than made up for it
Because there are quite a few graduates and placements who work here there is good opportunity to interact with them.
