The Role
From day one i was made to feel like i was welcome and that my opinions where just as welcome as someone who had been working at IBM for years. There was plenty of socials and chances to network, whether it was during the working day or after hours.
I felt very valued by my colleagues and it felt that I had been working there for years and i was a experienced hire.
If i ever needed any sort of help or support from my managers or colleagues they were more then happy to help me out and either give me the support needed or to point me in the correct direction to get the support needed.
I always had enough to work from 9am to 6pm and on the rare days i didn't have enough work from my day to day work there was always some wort of side -work that was available.
I wasn't treated different from another employee and i was given as much responsibility as a full time employee and after a few months i was encouraged to take on more responsibility.
over the past year IBM has helped me build on essential skills such (like team work, time management and my ability to write professionally)
The Company
overall atmosphere was fantastic and i couldn't time of a way to change it for the better, i felt valued as a employee and everyone (not matter where they were on the hierarchy) was friendly and i never felt i was being talked down too always as an equal.
very well set up, i was informed about my job role and what was expected form me on the 2 day induction the week before i started work.
there was a heavy amount of development and training involved in my placement. every week or so there was a course that every employee is about to attend online and a few course available to attend in person.

Very Appealing, from the outside it's hard to see what IBM can offer. however when when you're in everything i made more obvious and IBM can provide opportunities in multiple sectors and not only Technology.
The Culture
It was very good as multiple socials were arrange over the past year, for both those who dont drink and those who do drink (normally the socials will be in 2 staged
Unfortunately I don't drink, however my co-workers who do always spoke so highly of the night life in the area i worked in.
