  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a great working environment that allowed me the freedom and responsibility to seek out exciting work opportunities at a innovative company.

  • Initially I had to gain each member of my team's respect however once this was established I felt like a valuable member of the team and someone who could be relied on.

  • I was comfortable approaching my manager with any query and he would take me through the solution and was an invaluable learning source.

  • The opportunities presented to me meant that I had an exciting work schedule on top of the minimum requirements of the role.

  • I was given real responsibility with real consequences which helped me feel valued.

  • I have been exposed to the qualities required to pursue my desired career of being a salesman and gained a great exposure to the area of the business I want to return to as a graduate.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Due to IBM's commitment to their Placement scheme I was surrounded by a number of people my age which was great fun! The permanent employees I interacted with were very welcoming and more than happy to have a chat and enjoy themselves.

  • I was provided all the necessary information prior to beginning my year and then had more than sufficient support throughout.

  • It was available if you pursued it but the opportunities available to the permanent employees were not very easily accessible to interns.

  • Living in London provides difficulties for having an active social life but there are ways around it.

  • London baby! Great city offering a range of nights depending on what your interests are.
