  • I enjoyed my placement at IBM, It was well organised and a valuable experience

  • I have been given responsibility from the off and my work is used regularly.

  • A great system for placement students in IBM always had guidance

  • My work load fluctuated with the financial year, at times I was extremely busy and other I was looking for tasks to do

  • I was given a lot of responsibility from an early stage

  • I think that the skills I have learnt will help with my studies no end. I am more motived to achieve the results.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The general atmosphere was professional but relaxed. It was always fun the be in the office and you meet so many people.

  • The placement was very organised. When you start at IBM you get a development manager as well as your task manager. I found this system very useful as your development manager can help with issues you may have or goals you're trying to achieve.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a good social scene on the placement scheme. there were Christmas and leaving parties organised and regular nights out with friends.

  • London is expensive.

  • Expensive but a great night out, always go somewhere new and try everything.
