The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed every single day!
Everyone is welcoming, friendly and willing to help you learn and enjoy what you do
There is an immense amount of support and guidance from peers, everyone wants you to become a better version of yourself
Extremely busy - but I preferred that
I was given so much responsibility - I helped manage a Retailer divestment and acquisition
I feel so much more confident in everything, I have had a taste for real work and I understand how to act and what is expected of me. I feel more determined to do well in my career and I would go back to Vauxhall.
The Company
Very quiet - I did not enjoy this, however it helped when I was extremely busy and needed to concentrate.
Very organized, I felt like I knew what I had to do, and when by.
I was given numerous training sessions
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
The salaries are good and the opportunities are varied - they inspire their employees to work up the company
The Culture
Yes! great social scene, there is about 95 placement students so the groups and events are great
I live in the area of Vauxhall, so I managed to save a lot of money. The only cost I incurred was petrol, which was around £30 a month (cheap)
Luton doesn't have the greatest night life, but surrounding areas do.
Loads - charity days, social activities etc.
