    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I couldn't ask for anymore support from my manager and the wider team throughout my placement - I learnt a lot about how to go about doing the day-to-day job and managing different stakeholders and suppliers.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was able to travel around a lot on my placement which meant that it was important to manage my workload. Thankfully I had the right amount and there was always room for me to dig into different areas of the business for extra work if needed.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A lot. I was able to manage my own supplier and also had solid connections with other suppliers. I knew that the work that I was doing was making an impact on the greater business and also on customers.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt a lot about how to conduct myself in a large organisation and with different stakeholders. As well as this, it was great to see and understand about how the 'real world' differs to what you read in a text book. There is a lot of time available to develop yourself through courses and activities throughout the company and the door is always open for those who really want to drive themselves forward.
