The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Felt very valued by colleagues and treated respectfully
I had good support and management throughout my placement. This only decreased as I became more independent, but there was always support advice and help readily available.
This varied due to the nature of my role (business consultancy). I could have jam packed days and be working late some evenings, but I also had days when I didn't have much on at all.
A good level that I was comfortable with and allowed me to really develop and express myself
I'm confident the skills I've improved during my placement will really aid my University studies. E.g. organization, time management and prioritization. I've also enhanced my technical skills with regards to Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
The Company
The atmosphere was good. A great working environment, but I wouldn't describe it as fun.
Very well. A lot of information provided, support and guidance throughout the year.
2 days initial training then very little. Quite a lot online though.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Working from home
Very appealing. It will be competitive to get a graduate job, but you're in with a strong chance.
The Culture
Yes, this is one of the best bits. Lots of other interns to socialize with.
London is a great place to socialize but very expensive.
Very good - it's London. There's lots of variety.
I wouldn't say so. Mainly intern organized.
