The Role
Good placement, but not had an intern for a long time so bit unorganised for the first month.
Everyone made you feel welcome to the office and always helped if you ask.
Had 1-2-1's every week with manager to give support and guidance
Fairly busy, however some of the work was repetitive
Given multiple small projects however no major responsibility
Would like to have learnt more about the automotive skills used.... only really began to learn more in last few months
The Company
Quiet office with lots of different nationalities, but great atmosphere
Began to get more organised after a few months, but as I was given more work it was up to myself to keep my workload organised
I think more could have been invested however they are more concentrated on the graduate program afterwards
Flexi Time
Company Car
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
Healthcare/Dental
Plenty of opportunities, however more on the HR side and less within the engineering sector
The Culture
Over 50 interns from england and germany so used to meet up every week in a different pub or club, but was self organised and not by the company
cost of living was really high!! but full of pubs and restaurants so theres always somewhere different to visit
Situated in oxford so full of students and night clubs but can be a little costly sometimes
Always activities sponsored by BMW, and all interns here met up every week after work.
