The Role
I really enjoyed my internship and can definitely see it as a full time job
All the work I did added value to the department I was in
If I ever needed help with my work or had questions everyone in my department was willing to give up time to talk to me
Some days I had a lot of work and others I had hardly any
I was given a good amount of responsibility given that I was an intern
I developed many technical/ competency skills that I can now add to my CV
The Company
The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly
The internship was really well organised
There was a week of training at the beginning of the internship before we started at our desks
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
If they have been impressed with you during your internship there is the possibility to be offered a graduate job for the following year
The Culture
Really good group of interns - 140 within GBM London over the summer
Standard London prices
working in central London - plenty of places to go out
I didn't hear of any during my internship but I am sure there are lots
