The Role
Excelling organisation. Very friendly employees who constantly offer assitance, help and advice. Work was all very interesting as well.
They understand you're an intern, and offer their services. At the same time, they understand you may not be capable in completing tasks to perfection due to lack of experience.
We were given 1 weeks training at the beginning of the internshipm, and management and employees offering help and guidance fairly frequently.
Some days overloaded with work, some days no work at all.
More than I thought, but understandibly not given complete responsibility.
I want to work in finance so the work I did was all relevant. Modules in Uni also are finance based so I learnt a lot which will be covered in the coming year.
The Company
lively. Not silent which is good as otherwise it's too quiet. People friednly with eachother and talking to eachother.
Very well. Constant email updates with events and lunch and learns. Solid training with perfect work exposure.
1 weeks training. Ideally would have been longer but could not as only 10 weeks total. That week was excellent training.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Unsure. We find out in 3 days time!!
The Culture
Team drinks a few times a month, and played football once a week in one of my rotations.
Expensive where I live and no work friends live in the same area.
Average. Some good places to go.
Princes Trust Charity. We had to raise money throughout the programme in teams. Brilliant idea.
