The Role
An amazing company to work for, with an incredible amount of support within the business.
Working within such a small team, I felt incredibly valued and was given a great amount of responsibility.
I was given as much support and guidance as I needed - it is a very motivational company and I felt supported in whatever I wanted to do and work on.
I was always busy and there was always more to get involved in if I wanted to.
I was given a significant amount of responsibility, as much as a normal employee.
I will remember everything I learnt at Microsoft and know it will help me when progressing in my degree and career.
The Company
Very upbeat and happy - everyone was very welcoming and friendly.
There were a few issues at the start around our placement, and the staffing team were sometimes absent however as the placement progressed, there was more structure.
The company are all about personal development - it is a specific significant part of your placement and is thoroughly supported throughout the company.

The Culture
The intern community is very sociable and it was great to be able to socialize with them all year.
I lived in London, which in itself was amazing, however it was expensive.
Our office is a bit out of central, however there are bars there. It is also really easy to jump on the tube to any area in London.
Incredibly easy to get involved in extra stuff and work with people on projects and sports outside of work.
