The Role
Overall I really enjoyed my time at Microsoft
Colleagues were supportive and I felt valued, my team helped me grow both as a professional and individual
I was given support but I felt like it wasn't always enough. Sometimes management is really busy and I felt like there were times where I would have appreciated more support
I was very busy throughout the year
I was given a lot of responsibility - really appreciate that at Microsoft interns are given real job responsibilities
The Company
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen

International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
Graduate scheme is very competitive although very appealing due to the global reach and really good starting salary
The Culture
Social scene was very good in Reading, where majority of students were based
Reading is a good place to live/work as its rather cheap comparing to London and other large cities
Night scene in Reading is average, but London is very close I wouldn't say its a problem
Microsoft offers an amazing opportunity to get involved in so many different projects outside your role
