The Role
I really enjoyed my placement year in Microsoft and I think that I learned a lot from this experience and I developed my skills This is a great company where you can have your Placement year.
I did feel valued from my colleagues and they helped me a lot with the on boarding process.
I was constantly busy due to the large number of responsibilities I was given. I did have a direct contact with clients and they relied on me.
I was given a lot of responsibilities and this is something I much appreciated because my team trusted me and treated me like an FTE not like an intern.
I still haven't finished my placement year, but I believe that all of the skills which I developed will help me in my final year in university and beyond. I feel more confident and much more experienced. I had the chance to work in a real business environment where I could work very hard and develop my professional skills.
The Company
Amazing! I loved the whole environment and all the people who I worked with.

I am definitely thinking of applying to a MACH position within Microsoft.
The Culture
I met very interesting people and made a lot of friends. I am sure we will keep in touch even after the placement year.
London is the best place where you can have your placement year! The living costs can be very high but at the same time there are so many places where you can go out and have drinks and fun with your colleagues.
Amazing!
Yes, I took part in many extra curriculum activities and 101 teams.
