The Role
Had an amazing time - loads of cool opportunities and great culture.
Everyone is super nice and respect individuality - I always felt valued.
I could have received more guidance and support at times, but this was only due to the fact that they gave me so much freedom and responsibility.
I was able to get all my work done every day between 9-5. During these hours though, I was always very busy.
I was given much more responsibility than I originally thought, and this gradually increased throughout the year.
The skills and knowledge I acquired during the placement will be invaluable to me moving forward.
The Company
There was always a fun and relaxed vibe.
The whole experience was extremely well organised.
There was always time to work on personal development, and people always respected this.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
The future prospects at Microsoft certainly are appealing, but I believe other top companies offer better opportunities.
The Culture
There was a decent social scene throughout the year, but nothing crazy.
London is very expensive!
London is amazing!
Always time to get involved in other opportunities.
