The Role
The placement has been amazing, i have managed to accomplish everything i wanted as well as being able to travel & expand
They were extremely reliant on me for organising & supporting events ETC.
Support was there when needed however i was encouraged to work alone and had to use my own skills to get the job done, becoming the expert in the field.
All day every day with multiple projects & events but still with time to work on my own projects.
from events i would travel alone and run and developing system apps for customers
I have developed a huge range of amazing skills i will take forward to the future
The Company
My team is based around Europe and i get very little face to face contact with them, however i have a team that i joined within my office, we often went for lunch together after hours & the pub to enjoy a drink, we started playing badminton a few times a week and had a ping pong table to enjoy during the day when we grabbed a coffee
I worked with a team & my job was to support them, they worked with huge companies such as HP,Dell,Lenovo & Acer i would support them with demos as well as attending some events showing off Intels products and trying to integrate products. I was in a good position knowing exactly who i worked with within intel and where i should get information or products from.
i was sent to the US for extra training in products & had constant updates in particular areas.

I have a big network of friends in the company and i think i have a strong possibility to get a job.
The Culture
Events every week, from sports to nights outs, Was great fun as there was a large intern group.
Just like everywhere else in the UK, beer isnt the cheapest but pretty standard
As good as it gets in Swindon however we had a large amount of interns that would attend so we made our own nights
Constant things from sports clubs to the social team organising movie nights & events
