The Role
Many unique challenges of a wide variety. An extremely useful experience. Learned many things I wouldn't have done so at university.
Included in all team activities and felt like a permanent employee.
Colleagues happy to offer support when needed. I had my own unique mentor too which was helpful.
Always had something to do. Scope for you to initiate own work/project.
A fair amount which gave me the ability to develop my skills and aptitudes.
Many things I learned at university I was able to enhance while working on placement and experience new skills too.

The Culture
Yes. A weekly intern social was organised on a weekday evening and from there many other social events organised.
Very expensive compared to other city's in the UK.
Very good. A wide variety of pubs, bars, restaurants and night clubs. A university town so many fellow students about.
Yes, many sport clubs and facilities about and available for people to join.
