    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Even though I changed my role three times whilst on placement I really enjoyed my time here at Cummins. The work environment is relaxed and there are a lot of opportunities to improve and learn. Working in different people and teams has really helped me improve my communication skills and has changed my overall personality for the better.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Initially my work load was light and relaxed on a daily basis, in order to make my the most out of my placement I took the initiative to work in another department and broaden my skill set. This added to my work load but again it wasn't too bad as I enjoyed it.

  • When I started my placement I was given the responsibility to manage the order management process. However over time I took the initiative to expand that role and also secured a role in Finance where I published credit reports on a monthly basis that were then sent out to senior level management.
