The Role
I did enjoy my long - internship scheme in which I had the pleasure to work with a friendly team! I was indeed able to work on different deals and get exposure to different asset classes.
I think there is a good degree of collaboration and support within the team and I have always felt part of it.
I was left free to explore the different areas of the business and new projects. This requires lots of proactivity.
It really depends on the day! Things get quite busy when under deals!
Not much responsibility, but I had the chances to take part into important meetings!
Since things can get quite technical, having studied economics and finance helped me a lot! As well as excel and modelling skills which will be very useful going forward!
The Company
Very fun and friendly environment - always up for lunch together or drinks afterwards!
HR was very organised and made sure everything was going smoothly.
I did not have the chance to take part in any training and development courses.
I am lucky enough to come back after the long-internship!
The Culture
Yes - I got along with grads from the previous year and made some friends as well!
London living costs are known to be quite high!
London Nightlife is know to be quite fun!
Yes - for example team day: we went for darts! also we will be going at a cricket game very soon. I will be also taking part into 5k running competition!
