The Role
I have loved working in such a fast paced environment.
I was never treated as an intern, I was treated just live every other member of my team.
My Manager was always there to give guidance, however believed in me to complete my job to the best of my ability.
Very busy, although no two days were the same I worked very hard, which sometimes meant staying late or starting early, which you get used to as other team members do the same.
you are given so much responsibility, this is probably the biggest selling point for L'Oreal, you are able to own projects and feedback to senior management.
Skills I learnt here are way above anything you can learn sitting in a lecture, it is professional and personal development gaining exposure to such a huge company, This are so valuable and really aided me in completing my placement project which contributes to my overall degree.
The Company
there was some un-organisation initially however I have not had a problem since starting.
I think by doing this placement I have naturally develop[ed personally however the HR team organise sessions to aid this.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I think loreal is a great company to progress, and build a career in .
The Culture
intern socials were organised by HR and the intern committee.
I think it was manageable, I lived walking distance which meant no travel costs.
there wasn't one really, there are pubs, however for nightlife we would venture into Chelsea and central
there were a few such as volleyball and football however sport was not really my thing, so I did things more so with my team out side of work.
