The Role
The work was varied and very engaging.
The staff very friendly and very helpful. Interns were assigned a mentor and a buddy who answered questions fully and made you feel a part of the team.
Our line manager made everything clear and offered support whenever required.
Initially there was not too much work available but as we demonstrated our ability to complete certain tasks we were given more work.
A lot of responsibility was given but all work was checked and reviewed by more senior staff.
Learnt a lot about pensions and finance which can be recalled for future use.
The Company
The atmosphere was friendly and the office was open plan which enabled better communication with colleagues.
Very well organised and constantly improving.
Offered some initial training but only so much that six weeks could offer.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Got a return graduate offer within a week of completing the internship.
The Culture
There were six other interns in our department and location which made for good interaction.
