The Role
Through this experience I have leant so much that I can take into my final year of university and beyond into my future career. At the start of the placement I really didn't enjoy it, however I have really enjoyed the team I have worked with and this has been a huge factor, helping me enjoy my placement.
I felt that when I did all my colleagues work while they were away on annual leave, this was valued and also was done back to me when I was away.
The support I have been given by my team has been excellent through-out the year.
I was very busy and stressed at times, but I leant how to manage my time better through the year and towards the end of it dealt with the work load in a much more efficient manner,
I was given a full 360 desk, with a lot of responsibility from day 1. I found this fairly daunting at the start, however i feel that I have embraced this building relationships with new clients that will hopefully bring business to Hays in the future.
At the start of the placement I received some great training, However this training does not directly help me with my degree I think that i will take a lot of the sales training forward in my career.
The Company
My office is a very friendly, loud and fun office all the time. There is never a quiet moment in the office and if you are ever feeling down the rest of the workers pick you up with the noise on the phones!
The placement was well organized at the start with lots of training and reviews. However throughout the year I feel that the organization has fallen off a bit, but at the same time has stayed at a decent level.
At the start of my placement I was lucky to have so much time and money invested in training me.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
If you are a fantastic consultant at Hays the future is bright and you will make a lot of money. However there are a lot of people who take a while to make commission and struggle to make as much money at hoped.
The Culture
There is a fantastic social scene with fellow workers, there are always social events and nights out to go on!
Average.
