  • 3M stands out as it immediately treats every placement student as a valued member of the team. From the start I was given my own responsibilities and many opportunities to develop.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had a more laid back manager than others. This suited me but I felt comfortable that if necessary I could ask for more guidance.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My work flow varied, some days were quieter so I had a chance to focus on personal projects and development. Other times were a lot busier especially in the lead up to events etc.

  • The office is open which allows for cross communication between teams which is a real benefit. Additionally there is a real feel of mutual appreciation and there is no issues with status, the people with higher grade job roles and treated in exactly the same way as placement students.
