The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Faurecia
I felt very valued by my colleagues, I never once felt like I was just a student, I felt respected by all colleagues
I gained some support from managers but not as much as I would've liked, however because there is so much autonomy in the role, you just get on with the job
Very busy. Always something to be getting on with, never once a time where there's nothing to do.
I was given lots of responsibility, some of my activities were directly linked to payroll and because the work is not checked by another colleague, it gives you more awareness and attention to detail. Overall, lots of responsibility which directly effects other aspects of the job.
Learnt so many skills: technical, organisational, prioritising, attention to detail and so much business awareness in terms of being able to apply the HR practises and procedures to uni work during the final year
The Company
General atmosphere was pleasant and friendly, however it was fast paced and constantly changing.
Pretty well organised. I had an induction plan and handover.
Felt like I was invested in to some extent in regards to being put on the time and attendance system.
Above 25 days holiday
Appealing
The Culture
Yes, there was a nice group of students who were in the same position as you and so there was a nice group to interact with.
Not too expensive
Okay
