  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was a fun, caring and joyful office environment with the ability to laugh and joke but also with the ability to be serious and allow you to get your head down. The environment was a pleasure to go into every day and was never demotivating

  • 2/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I have several options to progress in my chosen sector. Allowing me to work internationally and nationally is a real bonus because i will not be glued to a certain area or location

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We were continually looking to meet uo and socialise with several different options available to suit everyones needs and wants. We had a very good social experience

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The plant location was ideal for all types of travel being near a main motorway, great train links and easy access via other modes of transport. With the felxibility of the workplace aswell it makes it much less of a worry

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife is good. The prices are reasonable and the choices are of a wide variety. The offer of student night on thursday is very appealing considering the hours we work friday allowing for a good time to socilaise with the locals but also the plant.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were not so many opportunities outside of work where alot of these had to be created ourselves. For example trying to organise a football tournament with in the plant without having the level of prep meant that this plan soon fizzled out.

    3/5
