The Role
I was put into a live role with a number of opportunities to contribute to the success of the business. The most useful experience of my degree.
I was treated as a proper member of the team. The open collaborative culture allowed me to receive feedback from my colleagues throughout my year.
Very supported from the beginning. My line manager has also been my mentor all year giving me lots of good advice for the future.
It varied throughout the year, I would say it's a very manageable workload with the opportunity to take on extra projects throughout the year.
I was put into a number of live roles, the level of responsibly increased the more I proved myself throughout the year.
The experience I've gained has been incredible. I've developed transferable skills that I can take back with me to university and continue to build on in future employment.
The Company
Very relaxed and open culture.
Great structure from the placement team and department.
Lots of opportunities to develop during the year.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I would definitely look to come back to the partnership, and will be applying for the grad scheme.
The Culture
I lived with the other placement students, there was a good social scene. Something I would recommend if you can, as you can all share your experiences,
Bracknell isn't very expensive, most of our socialising was done in Reading which is very affordable.
Not much nightlife in Bracknell, but there are lots of close towns with better night life.
Various clubs and activities you can sign up for.
