The Role
Very – the exposure you get in the company is great, as well as the amount of opportunities you have.
Very valued, everyone in the company has been willing to help me along the way. There weren’t many times at all when someone was too busy to assist/help me.
Any time I was unsure about what I was doing. I would always be working alongside my managers, therefore it was easy to get support and guidance from them.
Workload would vary, but I found that at the beginning I was working flat out because everything was new. Near the end now I find myself with a very low workload, because I’ve learnt how to use the systems thoroughly, as well as submitting work at the correct times through the week.
From day one I was thrown in the deep end, with support of course. The responsibility and trust that is placed on you is one of the key reasons why I felt valued during my placement, I didn’t feel like just an intern, I felt like a full time employee.
Most of what I’ve learnt on my placement will be transferable for my business degree, mainly presentation, organisation and time-management skills. Just as important; the ability to put my point across and support it in a large group with confidence.
The Company
I really enjoyed working in my team, it was a very close knit group, with three great managers. Other teams throughout the office didn't look as close as ours so it's hard to speak for the whole company. We had regular team outings and meetings.
Extremely organised - there is a really good intern community at SAP
Opportunities are endless - you get out what you put in, Tools, valuable meetings etc.

There is opportunity to apply and come back, but in terms what i want to do, its not for me, I'd like to try something different.
The Culture
One of the best intern communities I've heard of in terms of university internships. A very close knit group of around 40 people as well as always arranging intern days out/nights out
London, Surrey area.. not going to be cheap
Close to central London - can get involved in anything
