The Role
I really enjoyed my time at SAP. I was given real responsibility and work that contributed to overall business success. The office atmosphere was great, the employees were supportive and I really felt like one of the team.
During my time at SAP, I have always felt valued and respected by my colleagues. My team always listen to what I have to say and really value my ideas, being a millenial!
My managers and supervisors were really supportive and helpful. I never felt scared to ask a question and felt comfortable going to my managers/colleagues for help and advice.
To be perfectly honest, my workload has been huge all year round. I have enjoyed it as it has kept me busy and given me loads of experience, but at times I wish I didn't have so much to do so I could focus more on certain projects. A lot of the time I have had to juggle multiple tasks and work very late to ensure deadlines were met.
I was given huge responsibility right from the start. There are systems which only I know how to use and projects which I completely run. For example, I manage the UKI ticket allocation for customers to attend Wimbledon which is huge responsibility but great fun.
The skills I have learnt and developed during my placement are invaluable - I will use them in my studies, my future career and in everyday life.
The Company
The atmosphere is the office was always great. Everyone is sociable and chatty, and it was always really enjoyable given the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the business
I think the overall work placement was very well set up. I had a clear role and knew exactly what was expected of me. There was also so many opportunities to get involved in extra projects and things outside my daily role. For example, I was able to join charity projects and other fun activities to not only add to my CV/development but network with others amongst the business.
I feel the company invested a lot in me. I was always able to go to events and attend training opportunities to develop myself and expand my skills.

I would love to come back but there are currently no marketing grad schemes in place - there are only opportunities for sales roles.
The Culture
Yes - thanks to my good old friend Mr Alex Yeoman. All the interns were really sociable and we did something outside of work almost every week. My other colleagues were also really sociable.
It has been quite expensive, but it's to be expected as it's London. But I haven't minded paying a bit more to explore and go out in London. It's definitely been worth it.
There is absolutely no nightlife or anything to do in Feltham. But it's really close to central London and the surrounding areas (Chelsea, Clapham, Richmond) are all really fun and buzzing with bars and restaurants.
Yes - there are loads of opportunities to get involved in extra projects such as charity work and CSR activities.
