The Role
I've really enjoyed my time at SAP. Interacting with different people across many different departments has allowed me to really develop my communication skills. The intern community are great and i have enjoyed working within and for the specific teams in my department.
I definitely feel that i was valued by my colleagues, given lots of responsibility early on and really integrated into a vital member of the team.
Myself and my manager had 1-1's on a weekly basis and i could reach out to him for support wherever and whenever it was needed.
Most days I was kept very busy and always had something to be working on, whether that be a side project or business development activities.
As mentioned before, i was given a very large amount of responsibility early on, assisting the team on some of their larger deals and also running and closing my own smaller deals.
the skills that i have picked up this internship are invaluable. I've learnt how the different internal and external business processes work & developed my communication and sales skills.
The Company
A friendly and welcoming atmosphere with most people willing to help when i was in the preliminary months off my internship. The teams that I worked within as well were always open to having a laugh at the appropriate times, which is helpful because it relaxes you in a sometimes daunting/stressful situation.
Well organised with a clear structure.
The company organised and paid for 3 different "Intern development days" which were all useful in covering some of the fundamentals and special skills you need in business e.g. Presentation Skills.

They don't have an explicit graduate program. but there is a sales academy and a large focus at the moment around 'early talent'.
The Culture
Yes, excellent. Although the main HQ was situated in Feltham, we had a house in London and would do lots of fun things at the weekend as well as getting the train to Richmond to have drinks on a Thursday.
We lived in Chiswick, which is west London so our living costs were quite high.
Every Wednesday they have 'Wednesday Night Football' which is followed by the SAP world cup in Germany. There is also 'Tuesday Night Netball'
