    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed this insight week and I think it gave me the opportunity to really understand what working at KPMG would be like.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I thought KPMG went above and beyond to make us feel like actual employees, we were given the standard company lunch money, money for travel and a salary for the week. All the staff I spoke to were happy to answer any questions I had. On the work shadowing day I felt particularly valued and was even given the opportunity to assist on a small project.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • We received a lot of support throughout the week, I was never left alone with nothing to do, even on the work shadowing day when the team I was shadowing were very busy.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The information on presenting and on personal brand was excellent and something I will definitely carry forward at university and in later life. The information on different areas of technology was also really useful and provided me with the information I needed to decided whether I wanted a career in tech.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The insight week was very well structured, the first day was very information heavy but other than this I thought the balance of practical work and information was excellent.
