  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was really interesting to get detail about all the different sectors within technology and the activities we did were great. I especially enjoyed the charity challenge and the work shadowing which really gave me a feel of what working at KPMG is like.

    • Everyone was really welcoming and helpful in explaining things

    • Everyone who spoke to us who were all at different levels within the company were really helpful in explaining both how they got into technology and what they did and were open to answering any questions we had.

    • The skills sessions were really helpful for developing presentation skills and how to properly present yourself to new people

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • There was a lot of different activities we did which was great and it felt like it had been planned really well, especially with getting a lot different people to come in and speak to us. I think that one way in which the structure could be improved is to have the opportunity to work shadow within more than just one specific area in technology.

    • The insight made me really want to end up working for KPMG, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming and it was really interesting to understand what working in technology is like.

    • there was a lot of focus on personal branding and how to make yourself stand out which was very valuable

    • The insight did really help get a feel for the company, however some more work shadowing would have been beneficial in seeing what day to day life in a full time job at KPMG is like

    • there was a lot of networking opportunities like the carousel session, the work shadowing, the networking dinner, as well as all the speakers who came in and networking amongst ourselves
