About You
I would say I definitely enjoy this program throughout the whole process. It's an insight program that is filled with diversified contents except for traditional sessions like how to do presentation and build personal brands. The work-shadowing part is really great because KPMG really treats you as a newly joined undergraduate rather than only a work-shadowing intern. For example, I attended client meeting and internal meeting with a senior manager. This really gives me a taste of what is like working in Technology in KPMG and what to do on a day-to-day basis.
Everyone I met here is just so friendly no matter their positions. As an intern, I have the opportunity to meet range of staffs from undergraduates to partners but none of them are behaving bossy but instead, so friendly. Also, I attended the client meeting with my mentor which I think KPMG values intern's contribution as well. (though what I did was purely listening and learning because I do not know technology too much at this stage and hence cannot offer much help)
There's so much stuffs that to be taught here. I learnt a lot through presentations by people from different divisions and especially from the work-shadowing day.
I learnt a great deal on what Technology consulting is in KPMG and it's so fascinating because I've never realized that there're so much business they can do .Beyond this, I also develop my teamwork spirits through various case studies in a group.
The Company
It's filled with so much content and I really enjoy this throughout the whole process.
People here are really friendly no matter staffs from company or interns.
They've invested a lot no matter in money terms or efforts.
There're so many things to learn from this.
A great deal. KPMG's value has been emphasized several times.
It's a really good insight program into Technology consulting and I definitely recommend those with interests in this area to take this opportunity.
Everything Else
The pay is quite generous for spring intern.
There are plenty of opportunities here to get to know people.
We have a proper dinner at a place where we can see the view of Canary Wharf and talk to people. That's fantastic!
Volunteering activities are quite popular here
Definitely.
