About You
The insight week was really enjoyable filled with a variety of different activites and skills sessions that will help in the both the short term and the long run. All of the employees that I met were incredibly nice and willing to take a break from working in order for me to ask all the questions I wanted.
The employees running the week are incredibly supportive and always ensured that we were knew what was happening.
The skills sessions that were ran were about developing your personal brand, presenting and first impressions. These will undoubtedly help me in my degree and beyond as these are necessary life skills. In terms of the information received about the different divisions in the technology department, it will help me to make a more informed decision regarding my future career path.
The Company
Despite this being the first year that the Women in Technology Insight Week has been run, the week was very well structured. There were a variety of different sessions so that we weren't overloaded with information.
Both the employees and the other people attending the insight week were incredibly nice and there was a friendly and fun atmosphere throughtout the entire week.
There were many skills sessions which will help us develop in not only our careers but also while we are still at university.
