  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • A lot of reading at the start, but once the knowledge was picked-up, its was quite easy to make a real contribution

    • The start may be a bit tricky since everyone is measuring you, but after a few days, everyone gave a lot of support and were always ready to help in any doubt

    • It is a bit difficult to get feedback/support if you have a busy line manager, but if you track him down you do get the help you need.

    • There are times of great activity, and times there wasn't much to do. But most of the time is very well balanced and you get enough time for everything

    • I was lucky to be placed into 2 projects related to emergencies in service, so quite a lot of responsability there...

    • The systems engineering knowledge that i gained were very, very useful in organising uni work once i was back

    • There were well balanced times of a bit of a laugh and serious work

    • The city centre is a bit expensive, and trying to find a house is almost impossible if you are trying to find a house for a summer placement
