  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Fairly high, the John Lewis head office and Group head office are both based in Victoria, London. However, Waitrose head office is Bracknell based. Although the Bracknell head office is on a industrial estate so there is very little to do in the surrounding area unlike Victoria. It is also roughly a 20 minute walk from Bracknell station, while the Victoria office is only 2-3 minutes from the station .

    • Victoria has excellent transport links and is obviously very central.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • The Partnership has an entire website devoted to activities and events for employees to get involved in as well as discounts at approx 90 plus restaurants/bars/events.
